Ellie is a passionate advocate for animal welfare, with the conservation of endangered species at the forefront of her thoughts. Ellie has witnessed vast landscapes through her exploration of Europe and snorkelled with kaleidoscopic marine life in the natural reefs of Mexico. She realised that it was possible for humans to witness the wonders of the world responsibly and that’s what led her to The Great Projects! It has also come to Ellie’s attention the detrimental effect humans are having on the world’s wildlife and joined the team with the intentions of spreading awareness of the plight of endangered species.
This is evident in the content she produces so take a read of her articles on our blog. She has also put together some incredible videos so check them out on our YouTube channel!
As the newest recruit, she has dreams of snorkelling with the whale sharks of Mafia Island, as she is particularly drawn to marine life. Given the opportunity, she would love to visit the IAR Orangutan Volunteer Project, after becoming attached to one orangutan in particular called Amy, when she recounted the intense story of her rescue and rehabilitation to our readers!
